Step 1: Create Your Account

Head to genx.zone/sign-up and create an account with your email or sign in with Google.
Every new account gets a free bot account automatically. This is a real Twitter account managed by GenX that you can use to post replies immediately — no setup required.

Step 2: Connect Your AI Provider

GenX uses AI to generate smart, context-aware replies. You need an API key from one of our supported providers. Go to Settings in the sidebar and select your preferred provider:

Fastest way to start: Get a free Groq API key or Google AI key. Both have generous free tiers.
  1. Select your provider
  2. Paste your API key
  3. Click Test Key to verify it works
  4. Choose a model (we recommend the default)

Step 3: Create Your First Campaign

A campaign is a set of keyword rules that tell GenX what tweets to find for you.
  1. Go to Campaigns in the sidebar
  2. Click + New Campaign
  3. Give it a name (e.g., “SEO Leads in Mumbai”)
  4. Enter your filter keywords using Twitter search syntax:
"SEO agency" AND Mumbai
Don’t know Twitter search syntax? Just describe what you’re looking for in plain English and click the AI button. GenX will generate the filter rule for you.
  1. Set the check interval (how often to scan for new tweets)
  2. Click Create — your campaign is now live!

Step 4: Reply to Tweets

As matching tweets flow into your Conversations queue:
  1. Click on a conversation to see the tweet
  2. Choose a reply tone from the dock at the bottom:
    • Friendly — warm and approachable
    • Witty — clever and engaging
    • Bold — direct and provocative
    • Custom — write your own prompt
  3. GenX generates a reply (max 280 characters, Twitter-ready)
  4. Review the draft and click Approve & Post
Your reply is now live on Twitter!

Step 5: Turn On Auto-Reply (Optional)

Want GenX to reply automatically to every matching tweet?
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Toggle Auto-Reply on
  3. Set a delay (we recommend 30-60 seconds for natural timing)
  4. Choose a default tone
  5. Optionally add custom instructions (e.g., “Mention our product GenX when relevant”)
That’s it — GenX will now find tweets and reply to them on autopilot.
Start with auto-reply disabled for your first few campaigns. Review the AI-generated replies manually to make sure the tone and content match your brand voice. Once you’re confident, turn it on.
